Lightning Creek: on 15 acres, is at the western edge of scenic Clark Fork, along the trout stream (in the background) for which it was named. Located 25 miles east of Sandpoint ID, Lightning Creek offers affordable rates for all our services.

Lightning Creek History

Lightning Creek inc., is a mobile home park, self storage facility and small community in itself. Current owners, Russ & Pam Schenck, run the business and live on the premises.

We purchased the "park" in August 2004 from Dave Reynolds, prior to this time, we had managed it since 1990 for Dave. We have worked hard to make Lightning Creek a quiet, peaceful place to raise a family or grow old with a loved one.

The "park" has been in existence since the early 40's or so. (I don't hold a lot of stock that it was a RV park then. I do know it was a RV Park around the 50's when Cabinet Gorge Dam was being built to help house the workers).
